The miracle of "much fruit"

Doesn't ever happen

Just because our faith

Feels strong.

Or just because

We can't imagine

Anything we're doing wrong.

If we could,

We'd need to ask forgiveness

Of course.Ezekiel 18:30-32

And then abide in Him

And He in us,

Of course.John 15:4, 10

But then,

A nanosecond later,

And even when it feels

As if our faith

Is very small,

Or even if it seems

As if we've hardly any

Happiness at all,

Even then,

If we seek to feed

The needs of others first,

We will start to see

And comprehend

Why the miracle

Of "much fruit"

Is really very,

Very little us,

And very everything Him!2 Corinthians 12:7-10Psalm 71:14-19

Because

Now we know,

From what the Lord Himself

Has shown us,

That even if we only have

An apple's worth

Of happiness

Today,

With God,

It is utterly

Impossible

To ever give it all away!

"And Elijah

From it first,

And bring it to me.

Afterward

Make some

For yourself
