Gaunt and sad,

Who gave a stranger

All she had.

Not waiting

Until she knew

She had enough to eat.

And not debating,

Until she knew if God

Would satisfy her needs.

Fundamental shift

In our priorities,

Where we seek to feed

The needs of others

First

Instead of being focused

On our own necessities,

Is the golden key

That causes Heaven's gates

To open wide,

Where the pantry

Of the Lord

Is always full,

And every shelf

Is well supplied,

From which He gives us

Everything we need

To feed the needs

Of everyone

For this

Is where the flour of faith

Comes from!1 Corinthians 12:4-11

And this

Is where the golden oil

Of everlasting joy

Comes from!1 Thessalonians 2:19-20

No,

Not from striving

To increase it,

But rather

From being like

A faithful waiter

Who freely

Feeds the needs

Of others first,

From what the Lord Himself

So freely gives us.Proverbs 11:25

This profound ability

To give so overflowing

And so endlessly

Is the secret God concealed

In the mustard seed-sized
